About Asphalt US Legend Cars
Legend Cars were designed by Charlotte Motor Speedway officials in an effort to minimize the cost of racing in comparison to traditional stock cars. The company producing the cars, US Legend Cars, wanted vehicles that were low cost and low maintenance. INEX (acronym for Inexpensive Racing) is the sanctioning body for Legend Cars, though at $5000 an engine they aren’t as cheap as they seem. The cars are scaled replicas of automobiles from the 1930s and 1940s, using motorcycle engines and steel bodies. There are 10 body styles available to racers, but all cars are are functionally the same. Dwarf cars are very similar to Legend cars, except Dwarfs cars have no fenders. Legend cars racing started in the United States, but since the late 90s has made it’s way to Canada and the UK, and more recently Mexico and Australia.
